1. Our Approach to Intellectual Property

Crusade Atlas is a game-system-agnostic campaign management tool. We do not package, distribute, or reproduce any copyrighted game content. All roster data, unit stats, faction names, and related materials stored in Crusade Atlas are uploaded directly by users.

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any content they upload to Crusade Atlas.

2. DMCA Takedown Requests

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content hosted on Crusade Atlas infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) by emailing legal@crusadeatlas.com.

Your notice must include all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the specific material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., a URL or description).
  • Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Our Response

Upon receipt of a valid takedown notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified material. We will notify the user who uploaded the content that it has been removed.

We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

4. Counter-Notices

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@crusadeatlas.com. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
  • A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, or if outside the US, any judicial district in which Crusade Atlas may be found.

5. Misuse of This Process

Submitting a false or fraudulent DMCA notice may expose you to legal liability. We reserve the right to seek damages from parties who abuse the takedown process in bad faith.
